Bicycles on the RaceTrack?!!!

Accelerating through the starting line to the immediate turn 1, coursing towards the corkscrew before the daunting elevation change. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca may be fun for cars and motorcycles, but it is definitely a thrill ride for cyclists as well. (Hey, I mean, when do we get to bring bicycles to the track, on the bridges, and on their dirt obstacle courses?)

Volkswagen Sea Otter Classic, originally called the Laguna Seca Challenge, is one of the world largest bicycle festival. Celebrating its 22nd Annual four day event, Sea Otter Classic welcomes professional and amateur athletes to participate in cycling’s best competitive events in various mountain and road bike disciplines.  Hundreds of pro cyclists, also come to Sea Otter to race, sign autographs, and interact with their fans.

What makes the event extra special is that spectators will be able to see cyclists racing in different environments: the race track, obstacle courses, dirt terrain, and more. Lots of families also joined the festival to spend some quality time together, and to conquer the courses as a team.
